A database of premature and sick newborns has been created to help improve the care of the very best babies by analyzing them.

A unique database of thirty thousand newborns and patients with neonatal data has been created in Hungary over the course of a year, with the involvement of 23 neonatal intensive care centers.
Today, every newborn requires an intensive care allowance. In Hungary, neonatal intensive care centers (NICs) are specialized and equipped for the care of premature and sick newborns, who are given 6,000 births a year. They all have a weight of less than 1500 grams, and without the neonatal intensive centers, they would hardly have a chance of survival. Analyzing your data can help you determine what gives your baby a chance to survive and get the best out of life. After that, professionals can take steps to improve care.

Where is the baby born?

An analysis of the database revealed, for example, that the odds of surviving premature parents are greatest when the living room and the intensive care unit are within the same building. More than half of children between 500 and 750 grams survive when the living room and the intensive care unit are located in the same room, even if they are small enough to be transported within the city and beyond.

In the case of a threatening premature birth, only a quarter of mothers receive a lung release (betamethasone or dexamethasone) that significantly increases the amount at least one day before childbirth. Children born before the 34th week, whose mother does not participate in this treatment, will survive with a rate of less than 50 percent. After the data was exposed to sunshine, baby and neighbour's leaders launched a campaign to maximize the use of the treatment.

Every day counts!

Pregnancy is closely related to age and birth weight. Seven days longer gestation time increases by 19 percent and the 250 gram birth certificate increases by 47 percent. Even though only about a quarter of the weights below 500 grams survived, those born between 750 and 1000 grams could be saved. Over the past year, the chances of survival and life expectancy of the newborn have increased, and the data suggest that the benefit to the elderly is improved.Baby Room: No matter how much a mother participates in early childhood care, according to international research. Today, even in a few Hungarian hospitals, the kangaroo method is provided, that is, the baby is placed on his mother's naked body, where his little life functions improve. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for early childhood children today to read about recognizing early anxiety, what you can do about it, and what happens to you. If you are at risk or just want to be born in a hospital where NIC can be found, check out the Finder!
